What's Happening Around The World
While the country music community speculates about her future musical direction, Taylor Swift will take the stage this weekend at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
Brand-spanking new albums from Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and more are all set for the coming months, so here at CMT.com, we thought we'd help keep it straight with a handy guide.
The Band Perry's Kimberly Perry has a list -- albeit a short one -- of words she refuses to put in their songs.
Roll out the red carpet for newcomer Chase Rice. Country's newest breakout star released Ignite the Night, his brand new album, earlier this week.
There's a little spot in Nashville called Losers Bar. It's just a small, dive kind of a place, but country songwriters and artists seem to love it there. And now, Chris Young has a brand new single -- "Lonely Eyes" -- that came from Losers.
I've seen Jake Owen open concerts for just about everyone in country music. And now, as he explained on Larry King Now, Owen is the one whose name is on the ticket.
With the promise of cooler weather approaching, America's thoughts are turning to football. And the new film, When the Game Stands Tall, vividly captures the essence of what it means to compete.
Late afternoon storm clouds were rolling across Nashville and rain had begun to pepper the streets of Music Row as a crowd packed the reception hall at the BMI building to toast Brett Eldredge's second No. 1 single, "Beat of the Music."
Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott are among the newly-announced performers who will take part in the eighth annual ACM Honors ceremony taking place Sept. 9 in Nashville.
I love a good story-based music video -- one with a plot, a little dialogue. It's like a little mini-movie, and Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett's video for "Small Town Throwdown" is a hilarious and shining new example of such.
